My wife Kim and I have gone through the adoption process and we wanted to give back. There are so many teens in Central Kentucky that are in the Foster Care system and in most cases, not thought about during the holidays. We just wanted to try and make their holidays a little brighter.

After some research, I was amazed at the items these kids wanted...just simple things like blankets, clothes, mp3 players...something just to call "theirs". The request list below puts life in a little prospective so, we partnered with Leigh Shapiro-Walton from Heart to Home Adoption Agency and the Dave Thomas Foundation to start this drive.

Ciera - age 13
Likes music, (Hanna Montanna) and art. She would like art supplies.

Jimmy - age 15
Loves hunting and fishing. He would like fishing equipment(fishing pole and tackle box), MP3 player, John Michael Montgomery or Toby Keith CD. UK “stuff”.

Candace - age 16
She loves drawing and is very good at it. She would like art supplies.

OJ - age 10
He loves sports-soccer, basketball, football. He is a UK fan. He likes computer games. He would like a MP3 player.

Trevon-age 9
He would love a Bike, remote control cars, game boy and games

Devon - age 15
Loves to read (Stephen King), sports and video games. He loves Basketball, He would like a MP3 player.

Ashley - age 16
Likes jewelry, cooking, picture frames and would like a digital camera.

Broncey - 14
Likes music, reading and sports. He would like a MP3 player.

Timmy - age 17
He loves Scooby Doo, Sponge Bob, Spiderman. He loves videos and stuffed animals. He would like a blanket or pillow with one of the characters.

Malachi - age 10
Would love a bike, he likes art, reading, computer games, Alvin and the Chipmunks video.

Kimberly - age 17
She loves scrapbooking, jewelry, lipgloss, body spray.addressbook, art supplies.

Preston - age 16
Loves sports, music. He would like a digital camera. He loves airplanes and wants to be a pilot(although he has never flown before).

Quentin - age 14
Plays football, he loves music and football. He would like a MP 3 player.

Kobe - age 9
Loves video games and videos.

Monte - age 8
Action figures, music, board games.

Marcellous - age 12
Loves putting things together such as model airplanes and model cars. Remote control cars, MP3 player, movies, portable DVD player.
